Sick as a dog
Mom has been out of commission Since Sat, she was so sick that she had to miss two days of work this week. Some might say that, that is a great long weekend but not if you are hacking up a lung and can't swallow the whole time! Finally she is back at work today, but not without symptoms. It sucks being sick in the summer.
